What is the Alliance Française?
Alliance Française is the eldest organization to teach French around the world. Its first board members include famous scientist Louis Pasteur and world-renowned writer Jules Verne.
Each Alliance Française is a local non-stock, non-profit organization associated with Fondation Alliance Française that was established in Paris, more than 120 years ago, in 1883.
Did you know that there are more than 800 Alliances Françaises worldwide?
Alliance Française de Cebu was was inaugurated in 2007 by HE Girard Chesnel, then Ambassador of France to the Philippines and Micronesia. It is the only French language and cultural center in the Visayas.
Alliance Française de Cebu is proud to work with major partners in Cebu City such as University of San Carlos, University of San Jose Recoletos, University of the Philippines, etc.
